Welcome to the Chair of
Materials Handling, Material Flow, Logistics

In the year 1907 the Technische Hochschule München founded an independent "Chair of Hoisting Devices and Conveyor Systems“. One hundred years later conveying technologies still are a high priority research area at the chair now having adopted the modern name "Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow, Logistics" (fml). In these traditional surroundings, being simultaneously open minded with respect to new developments, the Chair fml can look back to a history of more than 100 years.
